Ferris Bueller's Day Off

My husband Conor really isn't into blogs at all but he has a favorite blog that he looks at nearly every single day (besides mine of course). I loved this post they had about a recut version of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" movie trailer. It reminds me of the trailer for Little Miss Sunshine or Royal Tenenbaums.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Conor and I have been on a western kick. Lately we can't get enough western movies. Side note: my dad, also a fan of the western genre, calls them "shoot 'em ups". Anyway, in the past few days we have watched Wyatt Earp, The Magnificent Seven, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Grey Owl and Silverado. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid has been one of my favorites so far! It is visually beautiful and a great story. Any recommendations for us? What is your favorite shoot 'em up?

True Grit New Years Eve

Here's to ringing in the new year with "True Grit". Tonight Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges inspired me to build a fire and sleep under the stars on the last night of the year. I want to drink from an old jug and sing Auld Lang Syne while I munch on cheese grits and corn pudding. I'm also going to serve buttermilk rolls with honey butter and for desert we will have individual blackberry cobblers! Then we will curl up in our blankets and fall asleep.

P.S. Country Strong might be my favorite movie of the new year... I got chills during the preview. Weird?

Harold and Maude is my favorite movie. I love it because I love their love. What is your favorite Movie? I decided every Friday I am going to post a trailer or clip from my favorite movies. I LOVE MOVIES so I have a lot of favorites.
